Green light to the dogs & C. on the beach of the Lidi ferraresi
Dogs can access the beaches in the period of the summer bathing season can take place in suitably equipped bathing establishments that obviously have a duly equipped area, delimited and reserved for the reception-
Green light for dogs & C. also in the following sections of free beach:
LIDO DI SPINA: stretch of free beach with width facing the sea of about 30 m and depth of
about 50 m, adjacent left side of the police station;
LIDO DEGLI ESTENSI: stretch of free beach with a width of about 30 m facing the sea and a depth of about 100 m, adjacent
PORTO GARIBALDI: stretch of free beach with a seafront width of about 30 m and a depth of about 50 m, south of Park Emilio;
LIDO DI VOLANO: stretch of free beach, with a seafront width of about 30 m and a depth of about 25 m, between the Franco bath and the New Age bath;
LIDO DELLE NAZIONI: stretch of free beach, privately owned, between Bagno Albatros and Bagno Mexico,
The ban on stopping and walking dogs on the shoreline remains. For dogs to swim in the sea, in full compliance with the provisions envisaged, a maximum of 5 dogs at a time are allowed to stay in the areas of water facing the stretches of free beach indicated for a maximum period of 10 minutes each. The owner during the bath, however, must keep the animal on a leash to avoid danger to the safety of people. These are the periods and times defined for swimming in the sea:
- in the months of April, May and September swimming in the sea is allowed only from sunrise to 10:00 and from 18:00 to sunset;
- in the months of June, July and August swimming in the sea is allowed only from sunrise to 07:00 and from 19:30 to sunset;
From October to March, access to the shoreline is free.
"The novelty of this year is the extension of the possibility of bathing with your pet to all areas identified on free beaches. - stresses the commissioner Robert Bellotti with delegation of animal rights - the authorization thus extended by the ASL is a victory for a pilot project strongly desired by this Administration and started already in 2018 only on Porto Garibaldi "
