The big events of Comacchio have been postponed to 2021

The city council has taken the decision to postpone the Comacchio Beach Festival and Dreaming of a parade of boats in celebration, the Carnival of the summer to 2021.

The city council, considering the uncertainties of the current emergency situation and the equally uncertain organizational and health measures for the organization of major events, has taken the decision to postpone the Comacchio Beach Festival events to 2021 (scheduled for 12 and 13 June) and Dreaming of a parade of festive boats, the Summer Carnival scheduled for June 20.

These are events which, due to their typology, register great participation with the inevitable aggregation of people: due to their significant size, they impose complex technical organizations and, moreover, need promotion to be implemented well in advance, linked as they are to the tourist economy.

The Municipality of Comacchio has therefore decided to review the programming of the events scheduled for the spring and summer and in any case of the events to be held by September 15, 2020, keeping the programming unchanged for the moment from September onwards.

This also falls on the articulated review of events and entertainment for the 2020 summer season in Comacchio and on the Lidos, curated as last year by MADE Eventi of Ferrara (which won the biennial call), which will be remodeled as soon as they are made known indications from the competent governmental authorities.

To date, in fact, all events until May 3 are suspended by decree and the entire tourism sector is awaiting indications of the next fundamental steps to reschedule an entire sector hard hit by the current emergency.

The Administration is working daily with the representatives of the entrepreneurs to summarize the requests that will be brought to the comparison tables activated by the Emilia-Romagna Region next week.
